Thank you for considering applying to have your art shown at Spiral Flight. Here is how it works....
Artists display work for an agreed upon period (two months up to a year.) During this time, your profile/price list are available for students, clients and walk-ins. We help advertise via the website, listerv and potentially our biannual mailing. Most artists coordinate a reception one Saturday evening from 7-10pm, getting donations of food and wine from local shops and restaurants. Additional afternoon hours are available when you can be on-site with doors open to the public. Work must be framed and ready to hang. Your costs include framing, photocopies of profile/price list, color postcards to advertise the show (recommended; typically 1,000 cards cost about $150), and reception planning/costs. The show is hung in cooperation with Spiral Flight's Director and 25% of sales go to Spiral Flight.
To apply to be an artist featured at Spiral Flight, you must:
- Submit the following online application
- Pay the $25 artist application fee by mailing a check to the studio
- Send 3-5 PDF images via email to info@spiralflightyoga.com
Once we receive the application, fee and example images, we will contact you within two weeks to set up a meeting to see your portfolio and discuss possibilities for hanging the show.
