2008 TRAINING: MAY-OCTOBER - ONE WEEKEND A MONTH
This 200-hour curriculum offers a contemporary approach to the study, theory and application of traditional and classical Hatha Yoga, and will include:
History of Yoga
Asana Practice
Asana Instruction: Assisting, Adjusting and Sequencing
Prana & Pranayama
Teaching Methodology
Introduction to Meditation
Basic Yoga Philosophy
Subtle Anatomy
Gross Anatomy and Physiology
Understanding Sadhana
Standards
The training is taught by Special Guest Trainer, Maya Breuer,
RYT-500, a Senior Kripalu Yoga Teacher and Trainer.

Maya founded The Santosha School of Yoga, a registered school with The Yoga Alliance (a national organization that registers yoga schools who address the highest national standards). The 200-hour curriculum of this training is approved and registered with the Yoga Alliance, so upon completion you are qualified to receive RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) status with Yoga Alliance, and also qualify to be affiliated with the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association. |
