what to expect
Thai yoga bodywork is done a on thin futon mat on the floor. The client is fully clothed and should be wearing clothing that can allow for increased range of motion and stretching (such as t-shirt and sweats or spandex). This practice is also called lazy man's yoga (and thai yoga massage), so expect the enhanced benefits of yoga practice without having to work hard and to be totally spoiled! Incorporating so many techniques, a typical Thai yoga bodywork session can run up to three hours. Given this, Angela asks that your first session be at least one and a half hours to allow time for: (1) your body to warm up completely and (2) her to access your personal needs, evaluate the techniques that work best for you, and target problem regions with better accuracy. After that, sessions can be one hour or longer.
